Renal Nurses Association of the Philippines

Renal Nurses Association of the Philippines (RENAP) has grown into a recognized organization. On June 20, 2002 RENAP was conferred as ACCREDITED SPECIALTY ORGANIZATION in the Philippines by the PROFESSIONAL REGULATION COMMISSION, NURSING SPECIALTY CERTIFICATION COUNCIL, BOARD OF NURSING in EDSA SHANGRILA HOTEL. From November 2002 to March 29, 2009, 3,878 members were able to pass the RENAP Specialty Examination and was certified.

@yanalucent: pwede kang mag exam..yon nga lang pag pumasa ka, nakahold ang ID at cert mo hangang wala ka pang cert sa 6 months na kailangan

Hello Sir/Ma'am

Gusto ko po sana magmember at maging CRN nabasa ko na po ang mga requirements pero my gusto lng po akong linawin. Board passer po ako last December 2010 at never pa po ako naghospital experience pero my IVT certification ant ID po ako. Gusto ko po tanungin kung pag nag 5 weeks Hemodialysis Training Course po ako sa Aesculap Academy / B. Braun Avitum Philippines, Inc. Dialysis Center this Sept.-December. Pwede na po ba ako magmember at magtake ng certification ng RENAP o kelangan ko pa mag hospital experience ng 6 months bago ako makapagexam for accreditation?

Greetings RENAP!

I would like to inquire if it is necessary to have an IVT certificate from the ANSAP in order to qualify for the CRN licensure? I have an IVT training not under ANSAP but from NC-CLEX (Nursing Center for Clinical laboratory Experience, Inc.). Will this qualify me to take the exam?

ask ko lan po how many items are there in the exam to bcom a crn? and can i avail the exam even dont have yet my 6mos training in dialysis? can i have my 6mos. training in ILOCOS TRAINING AND REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER?

Hi Raiza! are you a CRN? if not, to be a member you must present:
1. a training certificate in hemodialysis center (e.g. asia renal, aesculap, heart center, nki and others)
2. PNA card (not expired)
3. IV therapy card or id.
If these 3 requirements are met, have it photocopied and proceed to Philippine Heart Center RENAP office, i think they're located on the 5th floor. Present your stuff and be ready to pay 300 pesos for membership and other payments for RENAP accreditation exam. Usually the exam is scheduled last sunday of the month though the next accreditation exam is on July 31, 2011. Continuing edu/ lecture is done in the morning 8am-12nn, the accreditation exam is done in the afternoon.
